Kurt Kramarenko shoots hole-in-one, donates prize to Eaton Rapids Medical Center Foundation
Lansing, MI - September 11, 2013
Ayers Basement Systems Project Manager Kurt Kramarenko won $10,000 after shooting a hole-in-one on the Shoot-for-Loot hole during Eaton Rapids Medical Center Foundation’s annual golf outing on Friday, August 16, 2013.
Equipped with an 8-iron, Kurt hit the shot of his life and watched the ball disappear into the sun. Encouraged by the solid contact, he knew the shot would be close. Screams and cheers told Kurt he had won it all, but his attention quickly shifted toward how he could help others with his prize.
Kurt’s winnings didn’t all go home with him. A portion was donated back to the Eaton Rapids Medical Center Foundation to support technology, equipment and building improvements.
“I’ve been so close to hitting a hole-in-one before that it was an amazing feeling to finally be able to get it,” Kurt said. “I come to this event every year and I’m thrilled I can give back to the Foundation that helps so many people.”
